Gyo No Chikara - Very Yummy Beef Rice

Just when we thought there wasn't really anything else much to try in Tokyo, we spotted this interesting little shop in Ueno. Ever feeling peckish, G spotted this little shop just outside the train station. Heavily endorsed, they even had a running television programme just outside their shop televising the right way to eat their beef rice.

Like the vending machine food stores around Tokyo, you select what you want from the slot machines before sitting at the counter. Sis L and I shared a bowl of the highly recommended classic - comes with a good slab of butter and a half-boiled egg.

Mix in some garlic, ooze out the egg york, melt the butter and enjoy! One of the best meals we had in Tokyo!
