I was rummaging through some old photos taken when I came across this!
We had just bought my beloved Kenwood food processor and it was dad-in-law's birthday over the weekend.
G suggested that since dad likes cheesecakes, we could bake a cake to surprise him.
I dug up my old recipe for the original NYDC cheesecake and decided it was simple and fail-proof to attempt after my baking sabbatical.
Apart for the gaping crack in the middle during baking, the entire cake turned out really well!
The fruits obviously came on as last minute decorations to hide its physical imperfections. =)
Wonder what we should make this year....
